Jesus was a man who reflected the Light of Christ. He reflected our actual being since the Christ, and the most a human anatomy can ever be, is really a reflection of the mind.
Once the mind becomes pure and unified, it recognizes Itself since the Mind of Christ. When that Divine Mind is reflected in a human anatomy, you've a reflection of that, but a reflection isn't actuality. Christ is really a Light that is prior to time.
How Can We Be Reborn In the Light of Christ Within?
We've to prevent protecting the crumbling ego self-concept, and expose and release the shame that is hidden in the mind. acim When you yourself have been judged as a failure, now you can say, “Well, I failed previously for sure. I was a failure previously, however it isn't me. That is not me. I'm alive. I'm reborn again in Christ. I'm fresh and clean and clear in this moment, and I've nothing related to the self concept.”
Forgiveness permits us to stop protecting the crumbling image that the ego made of us.
When we are reborn in the Light of Christ, when we give all our relationships and everything of time and space to the Holy Spirit for His purpose, everything changes.

Each one is called, and the Course says that few decide to listen. Have you been likely to be content with that metaphor of “few decide to listen”? Who's got to listen? I've got to listen. I've got to follow. I've got to be usually the one! I've got to be the one that steps up, and says, “I'll answer the Call.” Like Neo in The Matrix became The One.
Jesus wants us to go by the images of the planet and to select the Light. His goal would be to take us to the vision of Christ, that will be non-perceptual, to be reborn and feel anew, fresh, and alive. He wants us to be that reflection of the Light of Christ that is shining radiantly within!
